Juslin Maunula reimagine waisted material, turning it to home products, wearables and sometimes installations. We see beauty in forgotten textiles and source the unsold surplus rolls from decades ago. The first drop of Juslin Maunula JUMBLE collection was launched in 2022. The smart use of materials and an open and experimental attitude, combined with artistic vision and the unerring ability to create aesthetically appealing pieces for a broad international clientele are the key strengths of this creative duo. Each product is designed in Helsinki by Laura Juslin and Lilli Maunula with great passion for colour and texture. All our products are produced in limited series by our superb seamstresses in the EU. We work with random batches of surplus textile. Availability of a product is depending on the size of the textile batch. New products are introduced in drops as we create them.
Juslin Maunula Studio
Founded in 2016 by fashion designer Laura Juslin and architect Lilli Maunula, studio Juslin Maunula has achieved recognition in Finland internationally. Juslin Maunula was awarded the Finnish Young Designer award in 2022 and was chosen among to 6 emerging design studios of 2023 by D la Repubblica Magazine as well as longlisted among top 20 emerging design studios of 2022 by DEZEEN. The studio has designed products, spaces, and collections for both domestic and international clients. Examples of their corporate clients include Marimekko, Artek, Kalevala Koru, Hakola and Finarte.
